Study Information

This study is investigating a drug which has being developed as a potential treatment for a severe form of epilepsy. Epilepsy is a condition whereby recurrent seizures occur. A seizure occurs when there is a sudden, uncontrolled, surge in the normal electrical activity in all or part of the brain. Although a number of drugs exist to treat this complex condition, it is hoped that this will be a better treatment option.
