So, as you may know, when you visit, we normally advise you to bring in as much entertainment as you can fit into your knapsack. You obviously have a lot of time to yourselves when you check-in to do a study.

While you’re here, our Wi-Fi takes a hammering, and rightly so. If your ‘must watch’ list is anything like mine you know you’ll never get through it all.

In honour of the generation of binge-watching, here is a list of our top 6 series streaming now and very soon.

Rick and Morty – Netflix

Follow the misadventures of alcoholic scientist Rick and his overly nervous grandson Morty, who split their time between domestic family life and intergalactic travel. Probably the best animated show on TV right now.

The Fall – Netflix

Gillian Anderson (The X-Files) is the on the hunt for an elusive criminal in this epic 3 season thriller. This ultimate game of cat and mouse also features Jamie Dornan of 50 Shades fame, who plays an absolute deviant of a villain. You will cut through this in a couple of days, unmissable.

Thirteen – Stan

Epic 5-part BBC series. Follows the story of a 26-year-old woman who was abducted at the age of 13 and held in a cellar for the next 13 years of her life. She gets out.

Master of None – Netflix

Acclaimed comedy series from Aziz Ansari, formerly the bird flippee on Flight of the Conchords. A big comedy with real heart.

Better Call Saul – Stan

Best show on TV in my humble opinion (including GOT). Masterful example of how to pen a prequel. Completely stands on its own whilst drawing on subtle Breaking Bad themes with a few nuggets for the die-hard fan. I implore you to give it a chance.

Stranger Things – Netflix

27th October. Season 2. Clear your schedule, all 9 episodes to drop simultaneously. Get involved in an October study and blitz through it in between episodes.
