  • 2 quick follow-up appointments

This clinical trial has been approved by an independent ethics committee.

About the study

This study is testing a medication for the treatment of Cryopyrin-Associated Periodic Syndromes (CAPS). CAPS is an inherited disease that causes episodes of fever, a hive-like rash, joint pain and swelling, red eyes, and headaches. Current therapies for CAPS are all injectable whereas this new medication will be taken orally via capsule.

At this stage of testing we are not looking at whether the medication will have any therapeutic value, so we require healthy people with no medical conditions to participate.
