About the study

This study is testing a new vaccine for Coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2), the virus that has caused the outbreak of COVID-19. There are currently no vaccines available against Coronavirus, nor any effective medicines to treat COVID-19. Treatments currently used against COVID 19 treat the side effects of the disease and do not work on the cause of the disease

In this study, participants will be randomly assigned to receive one of three vaccines. A low dose, high dose, or placebo. The goal of the study is to determine the safety of the vaccine and measure how strongly it triggers the body’s immune response to the vaccine. Blood samples will be taken to assess whether there are antibodies to the vaccine and whether this response will protect you from getting infected with Coronavirus in the future.
