About the study

This study is looking at a potential new treatment for epilepsy, a common neurological disorder that affects 3% to 3.5% of Australians. The medication in this study is provided in capsules, which are about the size of multivitamin tablets. Participants will be monitored to assess how the drug is absorbed in the body (how much of the study drug gets into the blood stream and how long the body takes to clear it). It is hoped that the results of this study will then inform further stages of testing in patients who suffer from Epilepsy.
