About the study

The World Health Organisation estimates that malaria affects as much as half the world’s population including many popular holiday destinations. Current treatment options require multiple doses over several days. This clinical study is developing a new medication hoped to reduce treatment to a single tablet.

Volunteers will be reimbursed $1,125 for their time and inconvenience for participating in this study.

What’s involved?

This is a weekend study!

2 days & nights inpatient stay:

  • Check-in Friday afternoon
  • Check out Sunday afternoon

plus 6 follow-up appointments over the following 11 days.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

  • Healthy Males Only
  • Healthy Females of non-childbearing potential
  • Aged 18 – 55 years old
  • Body Mass Index 18 – 30kg/m²
  • Not taking any prescription medication or over the counter medication
  • No asthma in the past 3 years
